Pregnancy pillows can really help you to achieve a good night's sleep, especially around the 20-week mark when you will have a very definite bump and sleeping on your stomach will no longer be an option. it is not recommended to lie on your back for long periods during later pregnancy, so the only real option is lying on your side, preferable your left side for optimal fetal positioning at birth. This doesn't always feel comfortable without proper support, and this is where the pregnancy pillows really help. And that precious sleep is really worth its weight in gold, there will be precious little of it about after the baby comes!
