NEWSFLASH: We are incredibly excited to announce that currently, for every three of these Carriers sold we will give a FREE 50 minute documentary about the benefits of Kangaroo Care. We are working very closely with Nathalie Charpak to achieve this. This documentary, which was shown on French Television, but now has English subtitles, is powerfully and beautifully shot. It follows the lives of two families with 26 weekers, one born in Marsielle and one born in Bogota. 

 

Although, both babies are at a similar level of stability etc, the Bogota baby is able to enjoy lots of Kangaroo care from the beginning.   We discover how much more involved and empowered the Bogota family are, the baby goes home a month earlier and breastfeeding is established. It’s a real eye-opener, and we hope that by making this film available to everyone that buys a Kangaroo Mother Care Carrier will help encourage the roll-out of Developmental care across the UK.
