Welcome to our "new" website! We hope you like it and find it easy to use.
Carly and Sharon met in 2005 when their daughters were just over 6 months old. Looking to see if they could offer support to other breastfeeding women and at the same time get back into the working environment - Express Yourself Mums seemed the perfect combination.
The business in itself supports and encourages breastfeeding as well as raises money for charites and offers information and advice on a wide range of topics - from pregnancy, through birth and post-natal recovery to breastfeeding, expressing and new baby. Express Yourself Mums has become a real source of information, not only for new mothers but also the health care professionals that support them. We take our time to talk with our customers, listen to their questions and help without judging. Our customer service is excellent and love having the personal relationship with our customers.
Over the past 6 years we have spent many days with midwives, lactation consultants and ante-natal educators - educating ourselves and our team as well as sharing our knowledge and advice. We really are now experts in breastpumps and expressing and can offer very personal advice and help to anyone needing to express.
The growth and success of Express Yourself Mums has not been without sweat and hard work though - we both expanded our families in the past two years which between both of us enabled us to test and use most of our products - and we have moved warehouses twice.
But we have also received recognition- now one of the largest online retailers in the UK in this industry, we were also nominated as a finalist in the "everywoman women in retail - "Entrepreneur of the Year 2010".
The latest news from us - is that re-print of our second catalogue is happening in February, and we await with excitement the launch of the My Brest Friend Twins Plus Feeding pillow later in February 2011.
