It was on and off for about two days while in slow labour and I only took it off when I got to hospital and went onto the gas and air, and then 5 hours later I gave birth with no other pain relief. Contraindications: Do not use your TENS machine before 37 weeks of pregnancy. Do not use if you have a demand type pacemaker or suffer from epilepsy. Consult a medical professional if you have any doubts whatsoever.
